Five minutes. You'll walk away knowing exactly which debt to hit, how much to hit it with, and when it's gone.
No raise. No second job. This works with the paycheck you already get.
No account. Your numbers stay on this phone.
Have your bank app and card balances handy. Close enough is fine, but don't round down.
Take-home pay, after taxes. Paid weekly? Multiply by 4.33. Every two weeks? Multiply by 2.17.
Not debt payments, those come next. Skip anything you don't have.
Cards, car, student loans, medical, the store card you forgot about. The balance and minimum are on the statement or in the app.
Money you're already spending. Put in what each one costs, then decide: keep it or cut it. Only what you cut counts.
That money is yours. It goes to the target too.
Every card you're not attacking gets its minimum. Nothing more. But that minimum is hiding something.
A $300 minimum might be $200 of interest and $100 of principal.
Put a bill you already pay, like a $99 phone bill, on that card. Pay the $300 you owe anyway. The $99 that would've paid the phone stays in checking, and it goes to your target. The sleeper's balance holds steady. The target goes down faster.
Your score is the key to the next door: 0% balance transfers. The biggest lever you control is how much of your card limits you're using.
When your score is ready, move a high-interest balance to a 0% card. Then keep paying the same amount. At 0%, every dollar hits principal.
